As our contract with the Regional Center of Vocational Training and Lifelong Learning, required for the European project Erasmus Plus with the title IRIS Innovative learning Resources to foster equal participation In grassroots Sports, dealing with discrimination, racism and violence incidents, on 5th and 6th of September, Knowledge Society held training courses about these issues to coaches and children.
Specifically in these two days three target groups were trained in different educational materials. Specifically coaches were trained on a web-platform and a handbook, children aged 11 to 15 on a Game-Based Learning tool and younger children aged between 6 to 11 on a ‘graphic novel’. The aim of the training was to support prevention of violence, racism and intolerance in sports, through innovative educational approaches.
